What we collect
Nothing. Time Ledger has no user accounts, no sign-up, no analytics scripts, no advertising trackers, and no server that receives your entries. Every calculation — hours, overtime, and pay — runs entirely inside your own browser.
What stays on your device
To save you from re-typing your week, the calculator stores the following in your browser's local storage, on your device only:
- The times, breaks, and days you enter on the timecard
- Your hourly rate, overtime threshold, and overtime multiplier
This data is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. It remains until you press "Clear all entries" or clear your browser's site data, and it is not visible to other websites.
Cookies
Time Ledger does not set cookies. Local storage is used solely for the entries listed above — never for tracking or identification.
CSV exports
The "Export CSV" button generates the file locally in your browser and saves it straight to your device. We never see, receive, or store your exports.
Contact form
The form on our contact page composes a message in your own email app; nothing you type in it is sent through this website. If you email us, we use your address only to reply, and we don't add it to any mailing list.
Hosting
Like any website, the server that delivers these pages may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability. These logs are controlled by the hosting provider and are not linked to anything you type into the calculator, which never leaves your device.
Children's privacy
Time Ledger collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If we ever add features that change how data is handled, we will update this page and its "Last updated" date before those changes take effect.
